É nessa vibe meio despreocupada de Get Back que o álbum American Thighs, do Veruca Salt, tem início. Esse foi, sem sombra de dúvida, um dos cds que mais ouvi, em loop, pra dizer a verdade. Foi com esse álbum, lançado em 1994, que os estadunidenses do Veruca estrearam, e em grande estilo. Fui apresentada ao trabalho desse pessoal através desse disco; os vocais femininos duplos fizeram com que eu me apegasse facilmente. O título do álbum é uma referência a um dos versos da música You Shook Me All Night Long, do AC/DC (She had the sightless eyes telling me no lies/Knocking me out with those American thighs).
